Staying at Hotel Mesones 49 during the Día de los Muertos festival was a delight. The charm of the hotel really stood out, with beautifully decorated and spacious rooms. My room had unique character and was impeccably clean. Enjoyed the Argan Oil toiletries too! The restaurant offered delicious breakfast and lunch at reasonable prices. The front desk staff was incredibly accommodating, helping with directions and providing bottled water during our wait. Free coffee and tea available 24/7 in the courtyard was a nice touch, though occasionally, the noise from the courtyard disturbed the peace during the night. The hot water wasn't always consistent when I needed it, which could be a hassle. Overall, a lovely stay overall, very close to the activities in San Miguel.

I had a delightful time in the heart of San Miguel de Allende. The hotel was beautifully decorated, and the spacious rooms offered a unique charm that far exceeded standard chains. Had a lovely stay with cozy, spacious rooms that were really clean, and I enjoyed the free parking service that made getting around easy. Relaxing by the courtyard or sipping coffee in the common area was a highlight during my time there. Just a note that the hot water took a little while to get going, but that didn't take away from my experience at all. ☕
